It has been determined that it would be beneficial to use Ziya Gökalp's work titled The Principles of Turkism in the history education process. In the light of the findings, six gains from the 9th grade and ten explanations related to these gains, four gains from the 10th grade gains, five explanations about these gains and finally one gain from the 11th grade gains and two explanations about this achievement were explained by Ziya Gökalp's ideas. In the findings section, the history course curriculum of 9th, 10th and 11th grades was examined and associations with the work named Türkçülüğün Esasları were made. The descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the document analysis and some findings were revealed. During the process of collecting the study data, the document review method was used and for the study data, the renewed (2018) secondary education history lesson curriculum and Ziya Gökalp's work titled The Principles of Turkism were preferred as a document. This study, which was designed in a qualitative research design, was carried out in case studies. The purpose of this research is to examine Ziya Gökalp's work named Principles of Turkism in the context of history education.
